With me being a bit of a fan of the early episodes of the Discovery Channel's TV show - Fast N' Loud, that starred owner Richard Rawlings, lead designer & fabricator Aaron Kaufman, as well as custom painter KC Mathieu, it's a no-brainer that I'd go check out the Gas Monkey Garage while in town.
Aside from the the pungent aroma that smashes your senses upon arrival there's not a lot to do or see, other than looking through the razor wire topped cyclone fencing. Sad to say that the gift shop is about as close as you get to the action, which was disappointing, but I suppose they are trying to run an automotive workshop and would rather not have to deal with the distractions of the general public.
Speaking of the Gift Shop, they certainly don't miss you there with with branded merchandise like truckers caps going for $29.95 and t-shirts starting at the same money - at least Ned Kelly wore a mask - so you couldn't see him smiling when he robbed you!
