TRIP MILEAGE – 5,132 miles or 8,259 kilometres
Just for the heck of it and to see where the Otago Peninsula road went, we pulled up at the gates of Larnach Castle to be told it would cost $32.50 AUD ($23.20 USD) for the Larnach Castle and Garden Entry, but only the gardens were open.
I know it's hard to fathom and as inviting as this "amazing offer" was, as a colletive we decided on taking in the free sweeping views out over Otago Harbour, to the city of Dunedin.
