As we were coming into Mafinga, I noticed a heap of red 'x's on signs, buildings, monuments or whatever by the the side of the road. Turns our this is the government marking items within the highways 70 metre easements. You have a choice, either move the item or the roads department simply bulldozes it without compensation, no matter who you are or how long it's been there.
