ANTIGUA GUATEMALA ~ Posada Los Búcaros (Sacatepéquez, GTM)

My accommodations at the Posada Los Búcaros took a little bit to get sorted.
Upon arrival, I was ushered to an adjoining property that looked to be significantly lower in both standards and amenities. Their plan was to put me up there on the second floor for a couple of nights and then move me back at the Posada Los Búcaros when my G Adventures - Volcano Adventure trip commenced.
Not being really keen on that arrangement, I spoke with the Manager and explained that I'd booked and paid for the Posada Los Búcaros, so one would surmise that's the product should be delivered at a minimum. I also mentioned the futility and inconvenience of having to pack everything up to get situated again, which for mind - is not an ideal start to any trip.
40 minutes and a quick room service by the cleaning crew it was all sorted, with both the Manager and myself happy with the outcome.
