After a 3 hour bus ride, the worms were definitely biting by the time we got in to Sancti Spíritus.
Lunch was meant to be a quick Jamón serrano sandwich at the Taberna Yayabo, but in actual fact it turned into a 2 hour ordeal in which you got two 1 inch thick slices of dried bread with thick bacon rasher like pork meat and sweaty cheese for $8 USD.
As meals go, it could only be best described as a shit sandwich without the bread. I simply paid for my drinks and point blank refused to pay for their kitchen efforts.
