Getting ready to jet off.
Today was my first crack at a couple of local dishes for breakfast. Philthy recommended I try Roti Canai (pronounced "chan-i") and Nasi Lemak. In all honesty, I can say it was not a bad feed at all – fresh, filling and wholesome.
I couldn't believe how cheap dining out in Malaysia is. Four of us went for breakfast and with drinks it came to about $11.00 AUD for the lot of us.
As school holidays in Malaysia had officially started, Philthy, Jodes, Kasie, Wendy and myself spent most of the day prepping for getting up at 4 o'clock in the morning and then flying out to Hanoi, in the north of Vietnam.
Last minute things like a small first aid kit, mosquito bands, toiletries, Vietnamese currency as well as sorting out clothes, cameras and gadgets, seemed to fill most of the day.

Great views from 'E' Block of the Heritage Residences.

|
The world famous Petronis Twin Towers were not that far away.
|
If you look closely, you can see where the watercraft head into the The Mines Shopping Fair.
|
A closeup of where Phil, Jodi and Kasie all work, the Australian International School of Kuala Lumpur.

One of the six towers that makes up the Heritage Residences

All the little ref roofs, at the bottom of the picture, are the markets next door.
|
Between each tower, on the 7th floor, are conveniently located pools.
