The Guggenheim Bilbao Museoa has an interesting architectural presence, but I wouldn't rate it as world beating architecture.
Having a free day tomorrow, so I could revisit if need be, I was happy to let others in the group pay the €13 ($20AUD) and let me know what it was like and then decide for myself - most of the comments were that the best parts were the outside.
