With the services of a professional local guide, we were able take in all of the significance and history of La Alhambra.
Originally constructed as a small fortress in AD 889 on the remains of Roman fortifications, the site has grown to cover 14 hectares (35 acres) in which spent 3½ hours exploring. One thing that caught my eye was the several different architectural styles, that were simply stunning in thier detail and craftsmanship.
