Day 4 of the Rugby Festival
In helping out the combined teams of Pine Rivers Pensioners (Australia) and Menwith Mongrels (USA), Dougy Doug, Jungle and myself got up and headed down to the hallowed turf of Murrayfield at the ungodly hour of 8:30 in the morning to take on the Towaku RFC team from Japan.
Whilst the game didn't reach any scaling height on the "wanting to relive the match", that our opening match with the combined Gunma Waku Waku, Fuwaka and Niigata Fuwaka Half Blacks Japanese teams, it was played in the traditions of Golden Oldies rugby i.e. good for a giggle and a gallop.
