Greetings Culture Vultures,

It looks as if Australia seems the place to be, judging by all the feed back I got for the Sydney pages. Sydney to me is just a big city and the sooner I get out of there, the better off I feel. Two days was more than plenty for me. Paul left us on Tuesday morning and headed home to Melbourne, but not before giving both KW and myself a couple of the best looking opals I had seen. Thank's mate, I owe you a beer or three!

KW and I also climbed on the big tin crow to my home town of Alice Springs. We had 5 days to wander around the middle of Australia, so I borrowed Steery's ute and took Kent on walkabout around the Western MacDonnell Ranges and that's where we are with this update.

Obviously trying to cram as much sightseeing into two weeks means we were going to miss a few thing, but by and large I think we hit all that makes Australia "Gods Own" country. I must be getting older or something but I'm starting to appreciate just how special the sights and sounds of Australia are.

I got a call from my mate Mike on Sunday saying that his bride Bekah is up the stick. My first question was "Who's the father?" :-)

Congratulations to ya Mike & Shithead, I hope it all works out well for you. Oh and yeah, like I said, I won't tell anyone. I didn't say anything about them reading about it.

Enough of my ramblings, go on, check out the photo's.
Later.

Stay Happy ;-)
